Should You Buy a Walt Disney World Annual Pass?

If you plan on visiting Walt Disney World more than a few times per year and spend more than $600 on your park ticket then consider purchasing a Walt Disney World Annual Pass.

With an Annual Pass not only will you enjoy park hopping and no blockout days but you can also take advantage of Annual Passholder benefits such as discounts on dining, merchandise, spa and recreation packages.

Walt Disney World offers a variety of Annual Passes, one is sure to fit your needs.

Annual Pass

With this pass you can enjoy one year of unlimited, same-day access to all 4 theme parks, no blockout dates and free parking.  This pass sells for $634 plus tax.

Premium Annual Pass

This pass will give you one year of unlimited, same-day access to all 4 theme parks, 2 water parks, Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course, no blockout dates and free parking.  This pass sells for $754 plus tax.

These passes listed below are for Florida residents only, there are restrictions on dates and times you can enter the park so please Please see the Annual and Seasonal Passholder page for specific dates of admission.

Weekday Select Pass

You can enjoy all 4 theme parks Monday through Friday but only during certain times of the year. This is our lowest priced pass offering admission to all theme parks. This pass sells for $219 plus tax.

Seasonal Pass

Blockout dates apply with this pass but you can get same-day access to all 4 theme parks during certain times of the year, including select weekends. This pass sells for $319 plus tax.

Enjoy admission to Epcot any day after 4:00 PM for a whole year. This pass sells for $179 plus tax.

Water Parks After 2 Annual Pass

This pass is great for those who love the water parks.  With this pass you will get admission to Disney’s Blizzard Beach and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water  parks, any day after 2:00 PM for a whole year. This pass sells for $62 for 10+ and $50 for ages 3-9 plus tax.

Monthly Payment Program for Florida Residents

With monthly payment program, Florida residents can get all the benefits of being a Passholder while spreading the cost of the Pass over 12 monthly payments.

FastPass+, MagicBands and My Disney Experience give Annual Passholders a new way to take their Walt Disney World Resort experience to an all-new level.

Disney FastPass+ Service

With this new service you can reserve access to select attractions, shows, Character Greetings and parade and firework viewing areas. You can now make same-day, same-park FastPass+ selections at the in-park FastPass+ kiosks.

MagicBands

These are lightweight, flexible wristbands that connect you to all the vacation plans you make online using My Disney Experience.  You just need to link your valid Annual Pass to your Disney account.  Then you can use MagicBands to enter Walt Disney World parks, link Disney PhotoPass photos to your Disney account and access the FastPass+ entrance for attractions and entertainment you have previously selected.

My Disney Experience Mobile App

If you have a smart phone you can download the My Disney Experience mobile app.  It is a convenient way to view, make or modify your FastPass+ selections on your favorite mobile device.  The app also allows you to make dining reservations, view real-time wait times, check park hours or see where you are on the interactive park map.
