Hi Everyone!  This Girl Travels is happy to announce that we will be having a monthly giveaway every month, starting with January ~ “Baby It’s Cold Outside Winter Giveaway!” for a chance to win a $50 gift card to Amazon!

We will be picking one lucky winner from the USA or Canada to receive this prize.     My favorite winter spot is going home. I love going to my childhood home spending time with family and doing all the “snowy” things I cant do where I love now

    My all time winter favorite spot is right here in Michigan where I live, we just love the snow and going family sledding by a near by park in our community. Pretty simple.

    My all time favorite vacation spot is in Maderia Beach Florida. We go every year to get out of the cold and snow and enjoy the beautiful sunny beach.

    My all time favorite spot is San Diego California! I love the Zoo and animal park and the Downtown area is so much fun to see! I love the beach in Southern California!

    My all time favorite winter spot is home or further up north. We love the snow and all the activities it can bring. My family has a small cabin resort on the border of WI and Upper MI, so we spend a lot of time there.

    My favorite vacation spot during winter is Hawaii! I don’t mind winter when there’s snow every once in a while, but we usually just have cold, wet and gloomy winters. I’d much rather be somewhere sunny!

    We don’t travel in the winter too often. Our January 1981 honeymoon was spent in Gatlinburg, TN. Deserted and a balmy 50-something degrees compared to at home in Ohio!

    My fave winter vacation is Smuggler’s Notch VT. So much to do there it actually makes winter kinda fun.

    Banff, Alberta! It’s such a cozy little town with fantastic restaurants & lodges, romantic meals like fondue for 2, wildlife, shops, & my favorite, riding on the Gondola through the mountains. Breathtaking views & so peaceful!
