As promised I’m back with more great travel from the Middle East, Saudi Arabia.
I will have to say that the McDonalds in Saudi rocks it with their McArabias and I’m growing quite fond of…..camels.
Our Thanksgiving lunch at the Qurayyah power plant. Not home cooking, but fun was had by all.
A herd of roaming camels west of Riyadh. Amazing how these animals can deal with the harshest climate like it’s nothing at all.
It has become a tradition of mine to get a picture from the top of the power plants chimney wherever I go. This one from western Saudi Arabia looking out at the Arabian Gulf.
I have found that everywhere I go there’s always been a warm and friendly engineer to help me with my work and make me feel at home. With me here, an Indian engineer at a power plant in Saudi.
Although perhaps not categorized as a culinary delight, these McArabia wraps were pretty darn awesome in Saudi.
Me and the gang at pp10 in Saudi. A great bunch of guys.
Getting acquainted with my new roadside friend in Saudi.
A tip for you: Camels dig green apples.
