While visiting Pakistan, perhaps as a measure to counteract the propensity of bad press that the American media gives this country, I went out of my way to see and capture the people and places that were out of the way. No matter where I went, I was warmly greeted and made to feel honored and at home by these wonderful, friendly and giving people.

the citizens lead a simple, happy, productive farming life without all the modern excesses
of our western cultural advances.

In rural Pakistan, some are lucky to have motorized transportation. In this case, three women in the back of a three-wheeled converted motorbike.

Local truck drivers in Pakistan take great pride in their vehicles as shown by the elaborate paint schemes here.

While donkey cart transportation in rural Pakistan is common, this poor donkey seemed to be pulling more than his fair share of the workload.

A local engineer from Lahore City in Pakistan at home with his American engineer friend atop the chimney of a modern power plant in rural Pakistan.
Although the political climate remains gloomy between the USA and Pakistan, such that I may not get another chance to travel there for my work, I’ve kept in touch with many of the friends I made during my visit, and look forward to returning when I get the chance.
