When you think of the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead you can sum up the experience in one word, details. I’ve stayed twice at Ritz-Carlton Buckhead over the last year and it is a place that focuses on the little things for their guests. It’s subtle and discreet, a love-affair with the guests.
Flawless execution is the way of the Ritz-Carlton. Guests are expected to stay there without worry or stress. Housekeeping is so quiet and efficient, it’s like a whisper and when you’re out for dinner, expect turn-down service to be done just as quickly and efficiently. When the Ritz takes care of the little details, it’s done so much you often wonder why you’ve not some of the same things in your own home. Clothes hangers in the closets have little, nondescript plastic teeth to hold your trousers in place. The bathroom drawer has a small shoe shine kit so you can give your shoes a quick shine. These are the kinds of little things you don’t think about individually, yet when you’re considering somewhere to stay, you remember.
I stayed in October for a wedding and after we checked in, I was in the room to get ready for the festivities. After we got back later that night, not only was turn-down service taken care of, but the staff had replaced the towels I’d used and left fresh bath amenities. I’ve stayed in many other high end hotels and it’s hard to get a towel, let alone an extra bottle of shampoo. It’s these little things that make that Ritz difference.

Dining at the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead is a treat. Sunday brunch is extravagant and memorable. While a special treat for us as a family, it was well worth the time spent together in the old world ambiance of The Cafe. Memorable dishes included a caviar bar, smoke quail and an impressive selection of cheese and charcuterie.
The fitness facility at this property is a dream for travelers looking to squeeze in a workout. If my gym offered fresh citrus water, along with the other amenities the Ritz offers, I’d be there every morning at 5am when they open. I’d move in to have the Junior Olympic sized saline lap pool and sauna at my disposal.

While I’ve not had any spa services at this property, I have checked the spa out. It’s a gorgeous soothing oasis in the madness that is Peachtree Road and beckons me pretty much every day of the week. Dressed in soothing colors and waiting for guests, the spa is an escape from the hustle and bustle of commerce and activity surrounding the Buckhead area.
If you’re looking for a getaway with your partner, family, or girlfriends, the Ritz Buckhead is the spot to be. They’ll take care of your every need with 5 star service.

Disclosure: I stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead as a guest of the hotel for my first visit. The second visit was paid for out of pocket (including our indulgent brunch.) All opinions are my own.
