From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes Big Hero 6, the action-packed comedy-adventure and 54th feature film about pain and loss, healing and friendship.
Grief. Unfortunately it is something that everyone must experience sometime in life and Big Hero 6 shows us just how young Hiro must make choices for his future and get through this emotional time.
There is a special bond that develops between Baymax (voiced by Scott Adsit) and Hiro Hamada (voiced by Ryan Potter) after a devastating event comes over the city of San Fransokyo and throws Hiro into serious danger. Hiro turns to Baymax and his good friends Go Go Tamago (voiced by Jamie Chung), Wasabi (voiced by Damon Wayans Jr.), Honey Lemon (voiced by Genesis Rodriquez) and Fred (voiced by T. J. Miller). They are determined to solve the mystery and together they transform into “Big Hero 6.”
The movie is funny, emotional, clever and well written. It will make you laugh, it will make you cry. It reminds us that after the loss of a loved one, that they are always with us in our heart. Always. It also reminds us how important it is to moveforward and heal so you can honor the memory of someone you have lost.
I give Big Hero 6 a HUGE thumbs up!
