Fantasmic! FASTPASS Options at Disneyland Park

By Dawn Cullo

A trip to Disneyland isn’t complete without seeing the nighttime spectacular known as Fantasmic! Since its opening in 1992 the show has become guest favorite and draws large crowds.  In the past few years guest have been known to save their spots for Fantasmic! hours before the show starts.

Starting on December 12, 2014 Disneyland will now offer a FASTPASS for Fantasmic! and you will not need to save a spot for the show.  These FASTPASS tickets are available on a first-come, first served basis.  When the tickets for the first show are depleted tickets for the second show will be distributed.

Once Disneyland park opens head on over to Big Thunder Trail in Frontierland and locate the FASTPASS area.  As with all other FASTPASS tickets you will need a valid park ticket for each person that wish to see the show.

Dinner and a Show

Instead of the general admission FASTPASS ticket you can kick things up a notch and take advantage of the Fantasmic! Dining options.

With this option you can make a reservation at one of the specific Fantasmic! restaurants and secure a FASTPASS ticket with a better viewing area than the general admission ticket.  There are several different packages varying in price.  This means that the more expensive the meal option the better view of Fantasmic! you will have.  Each dinning location will provide you with (1) FASTPASS ticket per person and each dining location will be giving out FASTPASSES for different viewing locations.

  1. River Belle Terrace – Frontierland
The River Belle Terrace is normally a counter service restaurant but starting at 3 pm it will become a table service restaurant. You will receive a 3-course dinner which includes a starter, entrée and dessert. The cost is $41 per adult and $23 for children ages 3-9.
  1. Hungry Bear Dessert Party – Critter Country
At the Hungry Bear you can take advantage of a dessert sampler, coffee, tea and soft drinks.  The cost is $29 for ages 3 and up.
