Eleven Delicious Reasons to Love Epcot’s World Showcase

By Paula Schmitt

I recently visited one of my most favorite Disney Parks in Orlando, Florida.

Epcot

I adore the Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, even Animal Kingdom, however, there is something that keeps me coming back to Disney’s Epcot (Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow) every time.

The delicious food in Epcot’s World Showcase.

Here’s my pick of awesome restaurants where I have dined and will certainly return:

Biergarten

Biergarten – located in Germany, I adore this restaurant. The food is served buffet style for lunch and dinner. The Bavarian theme includes tables where you are seated with other diners. German musicians provide live entertainment throughout the meal and guests can enjoy dancing as well. Always a fun time, can’t wait to visit once more.

La Hacienda Mexico Review

La Hacienda Mexico

La Hacienda Mexico food

La Hacienda de San Angel – located in Mexico, serves dinner only and offers authentic, tasty Mexican cuisine with a stunning view of the World Showcase Lagoon. We recently dined here for the first time and I love the atmosphere, including the mexican music which was perfect for the evening.

Le Cellier

Le Cellier Steakhouse – located in Canada, Le Cellier translates to “the cellar”and was designed to resemble a wine cellar. They offer lunch and dinner and while steak is the main focus, they do offer a variety of dishes on the menu. Reservations are highly suggested.

Rose and Crown Restaurant Review

Rose and Crown – located in the United Kingdom, this is one of my favorite hang outs. A bubbly, pub atmosphere, the menu offers traditional British specialties. They also offer patio seating which is very nice as you can enjoy your meal while viewing the nightly fireworks. Reservations are recommended.

Tutto Italia Restaurant

Tutto Italia Ristorante – located in Italy, another favorite of mine, serves some of the best Italian cuisine for lunch and dinner. They offer a great assortment of desserts such as, Cannoli, Gelato, Torta di Ricotto, Mocha Tiramisu. Need I say more?

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall – located in Norway, offers breakfast, lunch and dinner with Princess Storybook Dining. The meals are served family style and while enjoying your feast, Disney Princesses will come visit your table. Our daughter loved chatting with the princesses and I must say, the food was incredible.

Marrakesh

Restaurant Marrakesh – located in Morocco, offers an authentic selection of Moroccan foods such as Couscous M’Rouzia Fassi and Roast Lamb Meshoui . The atmosphere is a bit on the loud side, but the belly dancing entertainment is fun. They serve lunch and dinner and reservations are not required.

Nine Dragons

Nine Dragons Restaurant – located in China, features cuisine from the four regions: Cantonese, Kiangche, Mandarin and Szechuan. The atmosphere is very elegant decorated in lacquered woods, deep reds and gorgeous, rich fabrics. Lunch and dinner are served with reservations suggested.

Teppan Edo

Teppan Edo – located in Japan, guests will experience Teppan-yaki style cuisine and Japanese hospitality. I really enjoy watching the Teppan Chefs prepare our meal at the table just as much as I enjoy eating their delicious food. Serves lunch and dinner.

Chef de France

Chefs de France – located in France, an upscale dining experience with elegant surroundings and fine French cuisine. I love all the large windows throughout the restaurant and the Creme Brulee is to die for. Serves lunch and dinner.

Liberty Inn

Liberty Inn – located in the America Pavillion, a counter service restaurant with indoor seating and an outdoor dining terrace. They offer good ol’ American food such as burgers, macaroni & cheese and apple pie. Serves lunch and dinner and reservations are not accepted

What are some of your favorite places to dine at Epcot’s World Showcase?

Disclosure: Disney provided me with 1-day park hopper passes to facilitate this review, but as always, all opinions are my own.
