Disneyland turned 60 years old on July 17, 2015 and the celebration continues to dazzle at the Disneyland Resort. Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Park and Carthay Circle Theatre in Disney’s California Adventure are dressed up in diamonds for this special celebration.
Disneyland as created a new fireworks show to honor their 60th Anniversary. The “Disneyland Forever” fireworks show is a dazzling display of projections and pyrotechnics.
Guests will enjoy timeless music from “The Lion King,” “The Jungle Book,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Frozen” and many more.
At the conclusion of the show the guest are in for a special treat with a song written by one of Walt Disney’s long time songwriters Richard Sherman. His song “A Kiss Goodnight” was written specifically for this fireworks show and is his tribute to Walt Disney.
The “Paint the Night” parade is sure to dazzle guests along the parade route when Disney and Disney/Pixar stories come to life.
Tinker Bell leads the parade spreading pixie dust along the route to make the night extra special. If I could be any character in a parade I would want to be Tinker Bell.
The World of Color show in Disney’s California Adventure is always a great show. For the 60th Anniversary guests can enjoy an updated show called World of Color – Celebrate! The Wonderful World of Walt Disney hosted by Neil Patrick Harris.
This show is beautiful and one of the best World of Color shows that Disney had created. If you love Disney, you will want to bring your tissues for this show, guests have reported feeling a lot of emotions during the show.
Inspired by Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland guest can take part in the “Diamond Mad T Party” at Disney’s California Adventure. The dance party is a high energy live entertainment show where guest can dance the night away.
