There are numerous ways you can meet your favorite Disney Princesses while visiting Disneyland Resort in addition to Character Dining experiences. Here are some tips on getting pictures and autographs from your favorite Disney Princess.
My first tip is to ask a cast member! They always can give you tips on when the princesses are roaming around the parks.
Entrance of Disneyland Park and Main Street, U.S.A.
As you enter Disneyland Park keep an eye out for Disney Princesses, if you see one get in line quick to meet her!
I have seen Belle, Ariel and Tiana just after we entered the park.
Visit Fantasy Faire
Meet your favorite princess in Fantasy Faire near the entrance of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. You will get the chance to have a meet & greet with Ariel, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella in the Royal Hall.
A Disney Photopass Photographer is on hand to capture the special moments with your little princesses. I suggest making this one of your first stops of the day.
Attend a show at the Royal Theatre in Fantasy Faire. After the show you can take a picture with either Belle or Rapunzel and get their autographs.
Showtimes vary so it is a good idea to ask a cast member for more details about show times. You have to be inside the theater for the show to meet Rapunzel or Belle afterwards.
At Fantasy Faire, Belle has been known to hang around the area and we found her near the Royal Theatre in the morning hours.
Snow White Grotto is also a super place to find Snow White. If you have never been to Snow White Grotto is a a great place to take a nice break from the hot Anaheim day and make a wish in the wishing well.
Meeting Elsa and Anna is very popular and I have heard the wait to be very long but there are ways you can avoid waiting in that long line.
Elsa and Anna can be found in Fantasyland between Pinocchio’s Daring Journey and Village Haus Restaurant. You will see Olaf hanging out on the roof telling jokes!
First thing to do is enter Disneyland Park on either a Magic Morning hour (for those staying a one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels) or by utilizing the Magic Morning at Disneyland. This is for guests who have purchased at 3+ day pass or Southern California CityPASS. See more on Disneyland.com for all the details on the dates you can use Magic Morning.
If you are unable to use a Magic Morning or Magic Hour then be sure to get to the front gates before the park opens. This will ensure you are one of the first people into the park. Once you are in the park head over to Fantasyland. Be sure to check the schedule of when Elsa and Anna will be meeting guests as sometimes this is a few hours after the park opens.
To make the wait less painful for your little one have another adult in your group take them on a few rides while you stand in line.
What are some other places you have meet Disney Princesses? I’d love to hear your tips on how to catch a Princess at Disneyland.

I completely agree with going early and making a bee line to the princesses! We waited 20 minutes on our last visit, much better that the 75 minutes the time before!
